We encourage the children to behave in a manner which reflects Gospel values, thus reflecting our school motto – ‘Strength and Gentleness’
Our Religious Education Curriculum identifies the Catholic school as a place where students are offered experiences of Catholic discipleship and suggests ways that schools can promote those experiences in everyday school life. Teachers follow the Broken Bay K-12 Religious Education Curriculum which provides students with opportunities for engaging and challenging learning experiences. The curriculum and syllabus have been developed from Foundational Principles of encounter, accompaniment and transformation.
St Martin’s Catholic School supports each family in nurturing their child’s journey in faith. Students receive the sacraments of Confirmation, Reconciliation and Eucharist through the family-centred Sacramental programs.
St Martin’s has a strong commitment to sharing in the mission of Jesus and Saint Martin de Porres, through its spiritual and financial support for social justice work both within Australia and in various parts of the world. In this way, children learn to live as disciples of Jesus and become active members of the Catholic Church.
